Use of Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (hereafter: Google). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, i.e. text files that are stored on your computer to enable analysis of how you use the website. The information on your use of this website generated by the cookie are usually sent to a Google server in the US and stored there. Before, however, due to the activation of IP anonymization on these websites, Google will shorten your IP address within the member states of the European Union or in other countries which are contracting parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be sent to a Google server in the US and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports about the website activities and to provide the website operator with further services related to website and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser in the context of Google Analytics will not be merged with other data from Google.

The purpose of the data processing is the evaluation of how the website is used and the compilation of reports on activities on the website. Based on how the website and the internet are used, further related services will be provided. The processing is based on the legitimate interest of the website operator.

You may prevent the installation of cookies by changing the corresponding setting in your browser software; however, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent. You can also prevent both the collection of the cookie-generated data related to your use of the website (including your IP address) and the processing of these data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available under the following link: Browser Add On to deactivate Google Analytics.

Social Plugins

On our web pages social plugins of the providers listed below are used. You can recognize these plugins as they are marked with their corresponding logos.

Under certain circumstances, information, which may also include personal data, may be sent to the service operator and used by them where appropriate. We prevent the unconscious and unintentional collection and transmission of data to the service provider by using a 2-click solution. In order to enable a desired social plugin, it must first be activated by clicking on the corresponding button. Only this activation of the plugin will trigger the collection of information and its transmission to the service provider. We do not ourselves collect any personal data through the social plugins or on their use.

We have no influence as to what data an activated plugin collects and how they are used by the provider. Currently, it must be assumed that a direct connection to the services of the provider is established and that at least the IP address and device-related information is collected and used. Furthermore, it is possible that the service providers try to store cookies on the computer being used. Please refer to the data protection notice of the respective service provider to see what specific data they collect and how these are used.
